Our Story, Born from Distance
Inspired by the social distancing during the global pandemic, we, two sisters, Mags and Aisling, created the concept of "Hug in a Box."
Frustrated by the lack of simple, comforting options for sending a hug, we set out to bring a new solution to market. With a background in ecommerce and a passion for wellbeing, starting our own business was a thrilling prospect.
Our boxes were initially filled with high-quality, weighted teddy bears that emit the scent of lavender for relaxation and can be heated for added comfort. Our offering has grown substantially since then and we sell a lot of Irish products along with fun mugs, socks, candles, chocolates etc.
